Choose2Care was founded in Santa Rosa, CA by a small team of people who had been working to raise funds for a Los Angeles foundation. Realizing that the non-profit world was being underserved by traditional fundraising, the team worked on developing a new fundraising system that took advantage of the potential of the internet. The results, funds raised for the Eye Birth Defects Research Foundation, were remarkable. The Foundation, at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, was so impressed with the work of this team that they wrote a letter of endorsement for Choose2Care. The team was inspired to continue their work.
Choose2Care focuses its energies on working for smaller charitable organizations that don’t have the ability to accept donations other than cash. By working with Choose2Care, a charity widens its range of donation possibilities – which ultimately makes it possible for the charity to do more of the work it wants to do, and worry less about spending time fundraising.
Choose2Care is an independent non-profit organization. It is not affiliated with any religious group or organization. Choose2Care works with charities serving people from all walks of life, from all backgrounds, which need help.
